Creating a home for story, image, and experience.

We shape what people remember and return to — across brands, individuals, and spaces.

For legacy.

For us.

We work with brands, individuals, and creatives who know their lives, labor, and vision deserve more than surface language and disconnected visuals.

Through visual and written storytelling, we shape the language, imagery, and experiences that help people express who they are, what they've built, and what they hope to leave behind.

Every engagement is intentional, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that what’s named well and rendered authentically carries a better chance of being remembered, resourced, and held with the weight it deserves.

What We Do.

  • Your story already exists. We find it, shape it, and make sure it lands with the people who need to receive it.

Whether it's a biography that finally holds the fullness of who you are, a script that moves an audience, or written storytelling that makes your brand feel human — this is the work of being seen and remembered for the “right” things.

    • Brand Narrative Development

  • Before anything is written or photographed, there has to be a clear vision of who you are and how that gets communicated visually.

We build the strategic and creative foundation on which everything else stands — your voice, your positioning, your visual world, and the images that hold it all together.

    • Brand Positioning

  • Language is never just decoration. The words on your website, in your pitch deck, across your campaign — they either open doors or close them.

We write copy that positions you clearly, moves people to act, and sounds like the best version of what you're actually trying to say.

  • Every image, frame, and edit is part of how a person, a brand, or a body of work gets remembered.

We bring creative direction and full production together from concept to camera to final cut so what’s seen on screen can hold more than surface, and reflect the depth, labor, and vision behind what’s been built.

  • For brands and individuals who are ready for the full picture.

We come in as your creative and strategic partners — across narrative, brand, and content, to build something that holds you completely.

    Every touchpoint, considered.

    Every story, told well.

Our Process.

Our process is both intuitive and structured. We care about story, image, and what it means to represent people well, but we also know good work needs a real container. Every engagement begins with discovery, moves through reflection, and is shaped by a collaborative creative process that is designed to leave you with something clear, authentic, and lasting. We don’t do cookie-cutter, because on this side we believe that there are no ceilings, only sky.

Discovery, first.

Every project starts with a conversation, an intake form, and a close review of what already exists. We aren’t just gathering information. We’re listening for what’s been missed, what’s been underframed, and what deserves a more faithful rendering. This is where we begin understanding who you are, what you’ve built, what you carry, and what the work is asking for.

We find the throughline.

Once we have what we need, we step back and look for what holds it all together. The language that feels lived in. The visual direction doesn’t reduce. The emotional and creative thread that can hold the full weight of what’s being expressed. This is where things stop feeling scattered and start feeling clear, rooted, and more fully yours.

We shape the work.

Once the direction is clear, we begin shaping the words, imagery, and overall experience of the work. Depending on the engagement, that may look like writing, script development, photography, videography, concepting, or experience design. Whatever the medium, every element is developed with care so what’s created feels aligned, honest, and able to carry the truth of what it represents..

We leave you with something that lasts.

What comes out of this process should do more than make a strong first impression. It should clarify, enhance trust, support opportunity, and leave behind something worth returning to. Our goal is always to create work that can be remembered, resourced, archived, built from, and carried forward with the weight it deserves.

Our Story.

Cache is a creative studio founded by Vanessa Smithers and Corey Lamar at the intersection of story, image, and experience. Vanessa, a Toronto-based African Nova Scotian writer, narrative consultant, and legacy archivist, and Corey, a North Carolina-based videographer, photographer, and creative director, came together through a shared belief that what survives is often shaped by what gets named, what gets seen, and what is cared for enough to last. Rooted in language, memory, and visual storytelling, Cache helps brands, individuals, and institutions bring forward language, visuals, and experiences that reflect the full weight of what has been lived, built, and carried.

From written storytelling and brand narrative to photography, videography, and creative direction, we shape what people remember and return to.

For us, legacy and generational wealth are also held in narrative ownership, protected memory, visual record, and in what remains honest enough to be carried forward.

The Services.

The Narrative Edit: 2026 Launch Package
Sale Price: US$350.00 Original Price: US$800.00

This offering was built for the founder, creative, speaker, community builder, or small business owner who knows their work deserves better language and stronger visuals than what it’s been sitting in so far. If you’ve been meaning to tighten up how you show up online but have been too close to it, too busy, or too tired to pull it together on your own, this is for you.

This package brings together two things that can shift a lot, quickly: a 300-word short-form bio written by Vanessa and a 15-second highlight reel edited by Corey. One gives people the language. The other gives them the visual pulse. Together, they help you show up with more clarity, more intention, and more of the truth across your website, social media, speaker materials, and other public-facing platforms.

What’s Included:

  • A 300-word short-form bio by Vanessa Smithers

  • A 15-second highlight reel by Corey Lamar

  • A 20-minute Onboarding Clarity Call with both Vanessa and Corey

  • One round of revisions per service

Your bio is a concise written introduction designed to help people quickly understand who you are, what you do, and what matters about your work. At up to 300 words, it gives you enough room to say something real while remaining versatile for your website, Instagram, LinkedIn, media kit, speaker page, one-pager, or digital portfolio.

Your 15-second highlight reel is a short edited visual designed to give people an immediate feel for your work, energy, and presence. It is especially useful for Instagram, launch content, pinned posts, website integration, speaker promotion, and brand visibility.

Why This Package?

A lot of folks already have pieces of what they need. They have footage in their phone. Clips from events. Photos from shoots. Behind-the-scenes moments. Videos of them speaking, creating, moving, building, serving, and showing up. What they don’t always have is the time, distance, or skillset to shape those pieces into something that feels cohesive, and yes, that is Corey’s favorite word.

The same goes for language. A lot of people know what they do, but struggle to write about themselves in a way that feels clear, grounded, and true. They end up with bios that sound generic, rushed, too diluted, or too far from the real texture of their work.

This package solves both problems at once.

The bio helps people understand you.
The reel helps people feel you.

Feels and understanding? Yes, please. That’s what we do best.

Corey’s Process:

Corey’s portion of this package is intentionally built to meet people where they are. You don’t need professionally shot footage to move forward. You can use content you already have on your phone or in your camera roll, including behind-the-scenes clips, workspace footage, event moments, speaking clips, process videos, product footage, lifestyle content, archived visuals, or brand photos to incorporate into the final edit.

Corey reviews what you submit, identifies what works best, and shapes it into a 15-second reel that feels intentional, human, and aligned with your story. It is not about throwing clips together for the sake of posting. It’s about editing with care and enough visual instinct to make the piece feel like it belongs to you.

Vanessa’s Process:

After you complete your intake form, you’ll join a clarity call with Vanessa and Corey so we can align on your story, your work, and the broader context of what you’re building. From there, Vanessa writes a bio of up to 300 words that feels clear, grounded, and true to your work, while providing language you can use across your website, social platforms, and other public-facing spaces.

The Process:

Once you place your order, you’ll receive an onboarding form to complete. This form helps us understand who you are, what you do, what this season of your work looks like, where you plan to use these assets, and what you most want people to understand when they come across you online.

After your form is submitted, you’ll be invited to book your 20-minute clarity call with both Vanessa and Corey. This conversation gives us space to align, ask follow-up questions, and ensure the written and visual components tell the same story.

Once your form, call, and materials are complete, we begin the work. Because this is a launch offer, turnaround is slightly longer than what will eventually become our standard. Final delivery will take place within 10 to 12 business days after all materials have been received and your call is complete.
